        Just look at the pictures you've taken, and ask 
        yourself what percentage of them would look better 
        if the background or foreground was blurred little 
        bit more.  That's about the percentage of your 
        photography where DC would be useful.

        Yeah!  The 105's worth every penny if a 105's what 
        you want -- but since you want an 85mm, I'd guess
        that you probably don't really want a 105mm or
        135mm DC.

        If the 85mm focal length fits the way you work, 
        the longer focal length of the DC's might just
        get in your way.  That would more than offset the 
        advantages of DC.  

        Besides, if you haven't missed DC with your current 
        85mm, you probably won't miss it with the 85mm-D 
        either.
