It should have:
o DOF preview
o multiple focus points (5 is great, 3 ok)
o 1/250s synch
o interchangeable focusing screens
o built-in flash
I could live without:
o the F100 build quality
o the focus sensor joystick as it is on the F100
o the photosecretary connection
o the frame rate of the F100
o multiple exposure (but others may not agree)
In fact, I'd like to see a F801 with an up to date AF system.
I just read that the new EOS300 (to replace to 500n/RebelG) will have
DOF preview... and that camera is at the same level as Nikon's entry
level!
OTOH, if Nikon decides to keep the F90x around, they may want to
introduce a lower-spec F80.
