The high end Canon bodies fog IR film because they use some sort of
infrared counter.  Typically the lower edge gets fogged but not always into
the frame although it may vary depending on the individual camera.  Nikons
are fine for IR.  An EM should be okay for infrared film provided the seals
are good condition.  However, you will have to bracket exposures using the
film speed knob since there is no shutter speed adjustment.  Good luck, IR
can be a lot fun.
