I have seen some things posted about the new nikon 75-300. I know this is "touchy" but I'd thought I'd ask anyway. I saw a Sigma (I think) 70-300 or so that is an APO and maybe a little closer focusing than the nikon. I think the prices are similar. Does anyone think the Sigma is worth getting over the Nikon. I made up my mind when I started with Nikon equipment to basically stick with their lenses (knowing they were more expensive than others), but I keep getting tempted by other brands lower prices and claims of better specs. I have NEVER had a salesperson say anything other than "yeah, that lens is really sharp." any opions? michael Michael O'Hara Galehouse Construction
