Hi all, I've just received my new 50/1.8 from B+H. The body seems to be made of plastic, and the thing was made in China. Is this a new version of the 50/1.8? I've looked at various lens ratings and the 50/1.8 is always reported as very sharp -- does this apply to the above lens? Any opinions on this lens appreciated. TIA.
