Just a couple of quick comments: I went to B&H this afternoon and bought an F5, after selling my F4. I also looked at the F100 and the MB-15 grip. Nice things about F100: Very light, fast AF, pretty quiet, nifty red AF sensors in viewfinder, thumbwheel on MB-15 grip. Not so nice things: No place to put pinky without the grip, no eyepiece shutter, and the grip is "cheesy" for lack of a better word. Conclusion: If you don't want the grip, the F100 is terrific on it's own. If you want a grip, maybe the F5 is a better choice. If I had smaller hands, I think I would have bought the F100. Nikon did a great job on the camera, they really could have done a nicer job on the grip though. B&H is selling the US version of the F5 with Nikon USA 3 year warranty for $1900. That's the price with the $200 instant rebate, which is scheduled to end 3/31/99. Eric Edelman [EMAIL PROTECTED] www.edelmans.org
