Dear Paul,

Setting the Bandwidth between A and B to 1Mbps should only affect the direct
connection between A and B. Without any further settings the connection
between A and C will remain unaltered. (Anybody correct me if I am wrong).

Best regards

Andreas

Subject: [nistnet] Bandwidth Behavior of Nistnet

Dear Nistnet Experts,
I am an rookie in using Nistnet. I have a question about the behavior of the
Nistnet Emulator.
I know that the Nistnet Emulator is used as a router.
If I have three computers A, B and C and they are connect cascaded through
two 10Mb/s Cables.
The topology should be like this. A <---10Mbps----> B  <---10Mbps---> C .
My Nistnet Emulator is running on computer B.
If I set the bandwidth between A and B is 1Mbps.
What is the bandwidth between A and C?
Thank you for answering.
Regards,
Paul
