I haven't tried with 2.6 kernels, but the patches should do the job.
I have tried out the 2.6 kernels. I am running nistnet on SuSE 10.1 (2.6.16 or so?) with some patch which was found on the mailing-list. Everything is fine so far except the wildcard "0".
0.0.0.0 works while none of 192.168.1.0, 192.168.0.0, or 192.0.0.0 works. Do not really what happened and maybe I will try out 2.4 kernel later on..
