Hey NLUG members, I'm using gnome session fallback on Ubuntu 11.10. This gives comfortable environment. My only problem is that the edge of the windows is too narrow. For example if I want to resize a window (like the download window of the updates, it's really hard to grab the lower right corner of the window, it feels like 1 pixel thick. Do you have a workaround for that?

What I read along the way indicated that Ubuntu classic [was | is] going away as of Precise 12.04. I'm taking no chances and no prisoners. Would not object to being proven incorrect. Let's face it, "we" don't like to change what "we" deem to be working and for me, Gnome 2 was working just fine. Andrew's comments about the transition to tablet and touchscreen may very well be true but all the same, I like to be able to segregate my work on desktops, even on a touchscreen - maybe even more so!
