Hey,
I'm trying to get the list of the authors of a git project using 'git
shortlog -sne' using child process, but it seems that both exec and spawn
just hang. The command works ok in the terminal, so it's really weird.
Here's my snippet:
var child_process = require('child_process'),
exec = child_process.exec,
spawn = child_process.spawn;
var child = spawn('git', ['--git-dir=/home/alessio/www/git-project/.git',
'shortlog']);
child.stdout.on('data', function(data) {
console.log('stdout: ' + data);
});
child.on('close', function(code) {
console.log('child process exited with code ' + code);
});
child.stderr.on('data', function(data) {
console.log('stderr: ' + data);
});
exec('git --git-dir=/home/alessio/www/git-project/.git shortlog -sne',
function(err, stdout, stderr) {
console.log(arguments);
});
Any suggestions?
