To analaysis the trace file to extract the parameters you shoud use awk
scripts. but before you is newer to NS2, I advise you to study the awk
language(just do some searching on the internet for awk script, so you can
modify your scripts for your use).

For graphing its good to use MatLab tool for plotting. its excellent tool.
