     Thanks for the feedback.  I've been able to build the pf_ring package
file for 6.0.3 with DKMS now.  To address the issue with Suricata not
starting due to the libpcap problem was resolved by doing the following:

cd pf_ring-6.0.3/userland/libpcap-1.1.1-ring
./configure && make && sudo make install

This installed the proper version and the needed library files.  Now to
figure out the way to build the libpcap into a package for re-use and then
it is time for compile/build of Suricata 2.1-beta4!  Many thanks for the
feedback and sorry for the rookie level questions.

Lastly, on the params tuning, can I just update the settings with the
insmod command and the correct options or is there a way to set these in a
config file as part of the package process?
