One of the easiest birds I¹ve ever chased. I arrived at the Coney Island Board Walk and 12th Street at 3:00 pm and it was one of the first birds I saw when I scanned the Laughing Gull flock. It is very tame and came in to bread. At 4:00 pm a little kid ran through the flock yelling at the top of his lungs, followed by a park¹s department truck, at which point the bird flew east out of sight. Based on past experience it will most probably return to the same area where I saw it.
Also present in the same flock was a first cycle Lesser Black-backed Gull. Peter Post On 8/1/11 11:52 AM, "Karen Fung" <[email protected]> wrote: > Anyone know if it's been seen today (Monday)?
