I can't help myself, I buy most of the stuff that comes out. Luckily, I get
a great discount through an online vendor. So, in spite of the current
issue, Matt, I'm probably one of your best customers :) I finally had to
consciously choose not to purchase certain lines (like Kingdoms of Kalamar
and the Slaine RPG and a few others) just so I could continue with the more
generic lines (Slayer's Guides, Quintessential, Master Class, everything by
Atlas, etc. -- If I haven't mentioned a company's line, don't worry, I
probably buy it).

I like comparing what different companies do too. I kept looking for the
best shaman out there, first picking the one in Deadlands d20 but eventually
settling on the Green Ronin Master Class. I especially liked what they did
with the spirit template. I had done my own in the Netbook of Creatures but
they went a step further with the Materialize ability.

I based my own shaman on our old Runequest game, where shamen could get any
spell they wanted, but I haven't seen that anywhere else.
