Speaking from what happens in the software market, nothing would happen
to an individual purchaser who picked up the product in retail (its
already "sold through"). However, a publisher would have to make sure
anything in distribution or retail is pulled and destroyed. I don't
believe this would limit anyone's right to sue for additional damages.
