IANAL, but you are in desperate need of better legal advice if your lawyers are telling you that a "perpetual" license cannot be revoked for failing to comply with a license (particularly if the license in question specifically enumerates the conditions under which revocation will take place). Section 4 is not a "Get Out of Jail Free" card.
