Revised how? Clark has an adventure with Orcs in it. They have 1 Hit die. Suppose Orcs are buffed up in revised edition so that they get 6 hit dice now. What does Clark have to do to align his adventure with the new SRD? Nothing. His adventure just has wimpy Orcs in it. Everything in the Monster part of the SRD is derived from other material in the SRD (hit dice, armor class, special attacks), everything except the names of the monsters. Since they aren't PI, I can use the monster name and put any arbitrary stat block next to it and still be in compliance.Michael Thibault wrote:I would suspect (although what do I know) that we won't see the monsters officially released until the revised SRD is released. Why have staff vetting a document that's going to be superceded in 5 months?Bugger all.
(BTW would that mean that publishers would have to change all of the monster stats where applicable in PDFs and later printings of print products?)
Ok, it doens't effect me personally--but if WotC doesn't release the monsters & Psionics as draft, or issue a new "gentleperson's agreement", won't all of the monster books on the market have to be revised?
So again? What would have to be recalled or reprinted?
