I'm not a lawyer or a publisher, but I do read the list and try to figure
stuff out and I'm confused by some contradictory messages I've seen lately.

Ryan Dancey says you have to copy Section 15 of anything you reuse exactly,
with the only exception being that you can trim duplicate entries. I
understand this to mean if products A and B both cite the SRD and I use
both, I only have to cite the SRD once.
Does this mean the two products would have to cite it in the same way or I'd
have to have two lines, one for the citation in each book?

If I have to copy exactly, doesn't that mean that all Clark's efforts to aid
my reuse of Tome of Horrors are wasted? For those who haven't seen it, Tome
explains how to format the entry for anything you copy by inserting the
monster name and a few other details depending on what exactly you've
copied. Based on the "exactly" rule, it would appear that I have to copy
the explanation rather than actually using it.

Is that correct?
