I have chime in here.  No you wouldn't really benefit from listing company
X, Y, and Z in the back of your book in Section 15 (the ONLY place they can
be mentioned (remember, no association).  I doubt very many consumers run
out and check Section 15.  Besides, you are all ready dropping the name of
the LARGEST and MOST POPULAR company out there:  Wizards of the Coast.  A
distributor will not pick up your product of you list Goodman Games and
Green Ronin as a source for OGL.  If you are releasing it as a PDF or POD
you would have to make the OGL available for the public before purchasing.
Assuming that anyone read it before purchasing, would anyone other than
publisher's, WotC, and freelance developers care?  No not really.  You have
nothing to worry about.

I think we are looking at two different markets.
