I'll just say that, of the couple dozen d20 gamers I have introduced to VP/WP or a simple substitution of Con damage in the role of WP, all have been very receptive and interested. Even those I expected to balk at a 'new system' have asked for more. I'm talking people who can't calculate their own attack bonuses. That's not a trivial 'fact'.
