There are some socket samples in SVN now, you can access them from a web browser here:
http://oorexx.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/oorexx/main/trunk/samples/ They are: sfclient.rex sfserver.rex scclient.rex scserver.rex The sf and sc programs are functionally identical, sf uses the socket functions directly and sc uses the socket class file.
