No it is not normal. ftdi_layout_init 0x0c08 0x0f1b matches https://www.olimex.com/Products/ARM/JTAG/ARM-USB-TINY-H/ Try adding: ftdi_layout_signal ENABLE -ndata 0x0010 In case the LED is gated by the ENABLE. Unsure, I can't immediately find a schematic.
