Hi, I am absolutely new to orkut api and orkut application development. I am developing an application to keep track of the messages posted by me in the communities. e.g. http://sandbox.orkut.com/Main#CommMsgs?cmm=14041120&tid=5505901474141486755&start=1 for this message I want to get alert on my page whenever there is a reply to it. Can any one please tell me if it is possible and if yes, then how? I have tried things listed here http://opensocial-resources.googlecode.com/svn/spec/1.0/Social-API-Server.xml req = Net::HTTP::Get.new('/social/rpc?method=people.get&user...@me&group...@self&xoauth_requestor_id=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx&fields=gender,currentLocation') This type of requests works to get my profile info, friends profile info, albums info, but DOES NOT works for groups(throws not implemented error) and messages(internal error -500)
