The "old" caselog folded together all cases from all ARCs; for some
reason, when AlanB rewrote things, he put back the per-ARC distinction
that was not really desirable "out here" in the community. If you can
map from
http://www.opensolaris.org/os/community/arc/caselog/YYYY/NNN
into the new
http://arc.opensolaris.org/caselog/<SOME ARC>/YYYY/NNN/
then things will be somewhat better.
The other incompatible changes are that Alan didn't keep the code that
generated per-case index pages with summary data about the case or
keep the name mapping conventions (if html, txt, pdf and ms versions
of the opinion were all there, just present the html version, encode
pdf files as attachments, mangle the names to match the webapp's
requirements for page names...)
I believe that it is this latter that Mark is referring to.
