Reality check time :-) As Don said, porting GNU Pth to be "native" on OpenSolaris looks to be a very easy thing to do... If the status quo of "bloated Pth on OS" really bothers you, stop writing email about how bad it is and go write some code instead. Go port Pth to OS native threads - it sounds like an easy bite-sized project :-) -John
