Now it all makes sense. The first thing to do is to DESTROY the RAID configuration. You don't need or want hardware RAID on Solaris. That's what ZFS is for! You should configure all your disks to be visible as individual drives - no RAID, then you stand a chance of Solaris seeing the drives.
