Except that it only works in simple situations. I.e., not if you use the system as a home server (dhcp server, multiple internet connection) and it doesn't work with a ipfilter, etc. As we're not talking about changing your laptop but changing a server, I maintain that this is a problem for *every* "change the server while using the old disks". Clearly, ZFS makes this work better but there about 3 files you need to change.
