Hi, Shawn, You've been a great help. Thank you. I sucessfully installed ss-dev, mySQL-5 and OSOLvpanel-mysql. I also updated the system because of the other problem and re-booted.
Now, for some reason, I don't see a way to start either C++ IDE or mySQL GUI from GNOME menu or panel. Can you help me with that? Also is there a unixODBC/iODBC package I can install?
