The mailman interface, and instructions are available on the
opensolaris.org website (click the 'discussions' link at the top of the
page on the right.) It's the same page you used to subscribe in the
first place - Unless you used some other method I've never heard of.

Note that if you prefer a more technical discussion about features, the
I suggest subscribing to one or more of the specific mailing lists that
covers your area of interest.

While subscribed, I generally don't read this list much at all, instead
I've also subscribed to zfs-discuss, driver-discuss, x11-discuss,
pkg-discuss, install-discuss, caiman-discuss, networking-discuss, etc.

And I think you'll find more of what you're looking for on those lists.

This list is for general discussion of things about OpenSolaris that
*aren't* covered by those other mailing lists - News and discussion of
it's future I think falls within that description.

There are many many people here who haven't made up thier minds yet
about how all the questions invloving oracle and OSol will finally be
answered. So I don't think that posting news articles or other info
people stumble across (which they think others might find useful) is
that unreasonable a use for this list. Even when this list didn't have
those discussions, I don't think it really had much of the types of
discussions you're talking about either.
