Version information can be tagged to the name incorporations????? If you don't like to include something, you may simply block it. Then you will hoewever not be able to install anything that depends on that. optional software should either be handled by a higher level layer or by scripts from the package manager Cycles are no problem as you just need to install all entries from the cycle.
