*Job Details:* Position: Java Developer
Location: Boston, MA
Length: 1-2 YEARS
Start: 1-2 weeks
Interview: *phone / in-person*
*Skills Required:*
•    Would like a “younger” person thinking 3-5 years of experience
•    Minimum 3 years writing, testing, and documenting creative J2EE code
for secure, Web-based applications.
•    Enjoys working in a collaborative, fairly unstructured environment. If
coding from specifications is important to you, this isn’t the gig for you.
Quality, not deadlines.
•    You won’t be suffering under unrealistic deadlines but your pride in
your work must be reflected in the quality of your code. No cutting and
pasting types need apply.
•    Demonstrable capabilities with Tomcat, WebSphere, Apache, Ajax, MS-SQL
server, and persistence frameworks using Eclipse as your IDE is important.
•    Knowledge of Linux variants is a strong plus.
•    Must be comfortable developing creative Web-based, complex
applications/modules/add-ons from scratch.
•    Must be creative type think out of the box not just a “heads down
coder” but also be someone ok doing the same role for 2+ years not expecting
to move into a lead role or pm role – must be happy being a developer
•    All enhancements and adds – not new development work right now
•    Local to Boston
•    No methodology at this client they have their own home grown deal for
dev work similar to agile (not very structured)
