Nature of the project: SW development and testing involving Protocol stack analysis, automation solution design and development, and testing. Test plan development, Execution and Automation for both lab and prototyping tests for Standard and Advanced Technology teams. e. Must Have Skills: i. Good knowledge of mobile broadband/cellular (2G/3G- GGE, UMTS, WCDMA) protocols and infrastructure ii. Experience in network programming (such as TCP/IP networking, socket communication) iii. Experience in advanced programming, including object-oriented development, Java, C++, C iv. Experience in integration/testing of mobile broadband and/or cellular devices v. Good knowledge of LTE protocol is a big advantage vi. Experience in scripting programming, including JavaScript, HTML5, Python, Perl and bash vii. Experience in Web application development that processes database and generates statistics graph. viii. Working experience with GIT ix. Good knowledge of Linux system administration, especially for the networking x. Hands on experience in app development on Linux & Android environment xi. Proficiency debugging applications on Windows xii. Hands on experience in Visual Studio .NET C# xiii. Working knowledge of the throughput test methodology xiv. Working knowledge of the software engineering development process and project life cycle xv. Ability to develop module integration test plans, as well as system end to end test plans, troubleshooting skills 2. Position 2nd a. Location: Hillsboro, Oregon b. Start Date: Feb 3, 2014 c. Duration: 18 months d. Nature of the project: Protocol stack software development and integration, design, documentation, integration & verification of 4G FW (physical layer software) or Protocol Stack sub-layers modules in LTE technology, implementation of PoC's for advanced 4G features, generation of high level and low level design specifications for wireless SW products, development of related tests in assigned sub-layers and regular execution and observation of test results. Implementation of code to enable unit testing of new features (Analysis of issues, maintenance of code and documentation, Support System Engineering and Architect team), Code reviews e. Must Have Skills: i. LTE experience is a must. ii. Exp. in LTE FW and/or Protocol Stack modem software development (with emphasis on System Architecture & design) iii. LTE 3GPP protocol layers and related procedures in control and data plane iv. Design, implementation and module test of 3GPP 4G FW & protocol stack sub-layers and related procedures in control or data plane implementation of requirements and features v. Experience in design, documentation, implementation and test of Digital Signal Processing (DSP) software vi. Experience in development and analysis of LTE RRC/RLC/MAC layer software vii. Expertise in debugging and error analysis in relation to expected implementation and appropriate 3GPP specifications viii. Programming, debugging and problem solving experience in C/C++/C#/Java in MS Windows or Android/Linux environment for 3GPP FW/PS - Knowledge inmakefile, xml, python, Matlab, bash, perl, etc ix.
