Title : Test Lead Duration : 5+months Location : Houston, Tx *6 yrs Test lead with ALM/QC expertise*. Work well with multiple client teams. Excellent communication skills and QA toolset knowledge. Also experienced in automation and performance test planning. Indepth test planning knowledge and must have used SQL to create complex queries. Handson experience in Data Analysis and multiple platforms. Preferrably looking for local candidates from Houston area. Client multiple level screenings will be done. So candidate needs to be very articulate. Create detailed Test plans, Traceability matrix. Create Test sceanrios, Test cases. Execute cases. Plan offshore team needs. Co-ordinate testing and keep client updated on progress. Attend client planning meetings in Test scoping, execution planning etc. Report Risks and Issues to Client management. QC mandatory QTP and loadrunner experience preferred Extensive open system tech knowledge, COTS testing exposure High School Diploma with 5 to 7 years experience. *Main Responsibilities:* Performs basic testing tasks to assure that developed products meet design specifications and are within total quality management limits and standards. Tests, debugs, documents, validates and installs basic hardware and software testing tasks in accordance with industry best practices and specific internal procedures and standards. Reviews/Generates basic test plans, test case data, procedures and testing scripts based upon functional specifications to meet business needs. Utilizes software testing tools and assists in developing test software for use in automated test activities. Develops project plans, maintains metrics and interfaces with various engineering and operations groups, as well as vendors to achieve desired improvement goals. Documents and shares all test results; Responds to developers' questions about the results to communicate status and ensure understanding. Provides work guidance to less experienced personnel.
