Stuart,

I suspect what the Seidel Catalog was listing  as the alba form, was in reality the aurea or yellow form of L. tenebrosa. Some people would call this an alba form but it is not, as alba means white. Several of the yellow forms have been awarded by the AOS and the RHS.

Laelia tenebrosa "alba"
Does this plant exist?
Can someone point me in the direction of a photo ,seed or plants if so.
I remember seeing it listed in an Alvim seidel catalog years ago but no photo.
There are other minor references alluding to it but i can find nothing convincing.
THANKS
Stuart
