I had just read a post by Ivan regarding working on his stepmother's computer when I read this. So, it took me a few minutes to realize which "she" he was referring to below. To avoid taking on an unintended second internet identity, I'd just like to point out that this particular Darcy is a male ;-).
Just another case of how email doesn't always convey all the information that one might gather from a conversation etc. No offense taken! (At least this time ;-) ). Darcy's tips are right on. I tell people the same thing, and it helps them a lot. She didn't have any tips for the "computer illiterate" folks. Well, my tip for them is to become computer literate. Then, they can apply Darcy's tips ;-) Best regards, Ivan Baggett Bagotronix Inc. website: www.bagotronix.com Darcy Davis wrote: > I can't say I've seen any specific issues related to norton and Protel. > However, after seeing how antivirus software (both norton and mcaffee) eats > resources, I said forget it.
