Seriously, I wonder why someone hasn't thought of the idea of designing a special computer case that puts a hot plate surface on the P4 heatsink? The waste heat can keep your cup of coffee warm. What better way to enjoy your coffee, while you develop with Java and JavaBeans?

ZAM!

in less than 300 seconds my entire LAN was infected with some worm whose name i can't remember now, but it was rampant at that moment
it took many wasted hours to clean it all up

i hadn't clicked on or caused anything directly

Ivan is correct about the P4 space heater effect

i have a mini tower P4 in the shop and whenever i walk around the back i am always shocked at the sheer volume of *really* hot air blowing out the rear
it's a bit useful in the winter though
