i thought this may be a hard one because the BHO has a blank name
when i toggle the check mark next to it the toolbar jumps a little but
nothing visible happens
kinda scary
it's a shame we have to spend our valuable time on this junk

I'm pretty sure you could edit the registry to remove this toolbar, but the
other really useful tool is Hijack This available at
http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/downloads.html. This is a handy tool that
lists and catagorizes a whole bunch of things on your computer. Then, you
can choose to "fix" each one. I don't always recognize everything it lists,
but I can look up anything I don't know and decide to fix it or leave it
alone. There are several tutorials available that describe the categories
they use etc. The category assigned to BHOs is "02", so it is pretty easy to
see all the enabled BHOs.
