I know it's been a while since Steve sent that message, but for everyone's
information, there is already a Yahoo!-based mailing list in existence which
caters for users of Protel (and later versions such as DXP and AD).
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/protel-users/
It was initially established as a backup mailing list for the [PEDA] mailing
list, but I still think that it would be preferable to use that mailing list,
rather then setting up yet another Yahoo!-based mailing list.
While it is currently of an "open" nature as far as membership is concerned, I
would not have any objections to restrictions being imposed upon membership
from now on, if for no other reason then to purge spammers. (There has been
some spam on that list in the past, though it has not been a significant
problem in recent times.)

Geoff Harland.
