Well I answered my own question, so I thought I would toss it out there
for anyone else looking for an answer, if you want to have tabs that are
totally independent of each other, say 2 tabs open that are not using
the same session id, in your sysconfig change SessionUseCookie to no,
this will cause the session id to be put in the address, therefore if
you open up tabs and login in each tab you will have a new session id
for each tab.

Hrm ok, an example, I go to an existing ticket I start to enter a note
so I have the note window on the screen, I then right click on queue
view and open in a new tab I then zoom on another ticket. Then I switch
back to the first ticket when I click save on the first tickets note it
takes me to the 2nd ticket zoom.

I have not personally experienced any trouble with tabbed use. Can't
say that I am an aggressive tab user but every new notification creates
a new tab for my use. As with any tabbed web access if you are in an
authenticated/tracked/etc session you have to pay attention to what you
are doing.

Can't help... Cause don't know what you are referring... Works fine for
us.

We like to use tabs, the only downside of tabs is that you don't
know where your going to end up after clicking save or back. OTRS is
tracking the last page you where at based off a db entry, the problem
that we run in to is that if we open multi tabs we could be working on a
ticket for one customer enter a note click save and be on a totally
different ticket.

Does anyone have a solution to this?

        Thanks

        I'm Wojo
