Hi Snehal,
You can manually upgrade by backing up your Kernel/Config.pm Kernel/Config/Files/ZZZAuto.pm and any changes you may have made in your Kernel/Output/HTML/* folder. (Which, is more than you have been doing if you have been uninstalling every time) Then unzip the OTRS-x.x.x.zip to your OTRS/ which will overwrite all of the old files with the new ones. Replace your backed-up files, and then run any DBUpdate scripts that may apply. Restart your cron.Hello,Everytime a new version of OTRS comes out, I have to completely uninstall the previous version meaning the database, cron, apache, perl. Is there anyway to upgrade w/the win32 installer w/out having to remove it completely. I was just wondering if there was a upgrade feature that I'm missing somewhere?
That should work just fine for you. -- Shawn Beasley ((otrs)) :: OTRS AG :: Norsk-Data-Straße 1 :: 61352 Bad Homburg Fon: +49 (0) 9421 56818 0 :: Fax: +49 (0) 9421 56818 18 http://www.otrs.com/ :: Communication with success!
