Dear All NMAP is now part of the Greens national and state health policies particularly relevant for those list members who will vote in the forthcoming Vic and NSW elections ! If you do not want to vote Green tell candidates of other parties NMAP is what you would vote for as would informed pregnant women if they were given the opportunity as is the case in NZ. Since1990 when legislative changes gave women universal access to midwifery care in New Zealand, the maternity budget has been reducing, and now over 72% of women choose the care of a midwife, from 1 % in 1990.   DeniseH.
