You can convert the InfoPath data connection into Sharepoint
DataConnectionLibrary. The DataConnectionLibrary can be created on every site
you want. The same form will look for the corresponding DataConnectionLibrary
on the site.

Just hit "Convert" button in InfoPath data connection.

Another alternative is to use Sharepoint web service such has
/_vti_bin/lists.asmx.

Cheers,
Tommy

Hi Guys,

Is there any way to make a data source relative?

i.e. a drop down with document names from a document library, but it looks at
the library on the site the form is on instead of the same document library for
wherever the form is located.

i.e. I am making a project checklist that you select a budget from the library
for approval.

However this project site is template up and a new one is created for every
project.
