Yep, it's correct.

I investigated the approaches to upload files to SharePoint recently, and
stumbled over the same stuff

Subject: File Size Upload Issue

Hi All

I'm trying to resolve a problem with users not being able to upload files
into SharePoint 2007 over 30MB.

Can someone confirm whether the following article is correct?

http://blogs.technet.com/b/french_sharepoint_support_blog/archive/2009/11/01
/sharepoint-unable-to-upload-file-larger-than-30-mb-on-a-sharepoint-site-run
ning-on-windows-server-2008-and-windows-server-2008-r2.aspx

He basically states there is another requirements of changing the
applicationhost.config file which Microsoft don't actually mention in their
kb.

I'm sure most of you SP admins have had to do this at one point or another.

Regards,
