On a separate tack, can you confirm that the list isn't set up with Item Level
Permissions of "Only their own"?

Is it possible that there is some sort of impersonation occurring when the form
is submitted via Citrix?

Regards,

Paul

A friend reminded me that infopath submission is curious - when submitting
SharePoint seems to register a row, but not upload the file until it is checked
in. Can you find out if the user can try to perform a "check in" action
(despite the fact they shouldn't have to)?

There are no workflows on the list (workflows on the form are managed by the
Infopath form rules), and all users have "Manage Hierarchy" and "Contribute"
access to the site, with lists inheriting these permissions.

The scenario really makes no sense >_<

Are there any workflows on the list? Is there anything to do with publishing
and who can see drafts?

Subject: Infopath forms in a Sharepoint Form Library oddity

Hello all!

I've come across a Friday doozy that I'm hoping someone's seen before, because
my creative juices are running so low I can't even come up with an inventive
reason why this may be happening.

The scenario goes: we've got an office up in Toowoomba who access the site over
Citrix. One of the users opens up the form library and clicks New to submit a
new Infopath form. The form is submitted successfully, and he can see his form
in the form library. Note though that he can't see any of the existing forms.
A user (with the same access levels) back at HQ opens the form library, can see
the existing forms but not the new forms created by the first user.

Thinking to myself it's probably a user error (since both users have the same
access levels), I log on with my own username (which is also a Site Collection
Administrator), and I can see the existing forms but not the new form created.
I log onto the website from my desk as the user who created it, and this time,
I can see the existing forms but not the new form. I remote onto the user's
machine and confirm that on his machine, I can only see the new form he
created. I log onto one of our Citrix machines to mimic his setup, as myself
and as the user and again, can only see the existing forms but not the new form.

Does anyone have a logical explanation for why this might be the case?? The
website is hosted on our servers at HQ, as are our SQL servers.

Cheers,

Zelda
