If the ADB port is defective, the problem is 99% likely to be in the 
CUDA chip.  This is a little SOIC package chip with 28 pins labeled 
341S0788.  It's a custom Apple chip so you can't buy a new one, but 
Apple has used this chip at least as far back as the NuBus PowerMacs 
and possibly even on some of the Quadras.   They're easy enough to 
salvage off of another board and replace with some soldering.  I 
usually steal them off of some 7200 boards I keep around as parts 
boards.

I'd offer to do it for you for a small fee, but the shipping of the 
board round trip would cost $20 alone, which usually makes it not 
worthwhile.
