I'm with you on this one. Even with smaller Photoshop
files (jpegs, gifs, etc), you can have other apps
(Illustrator, IE, NS, Dreamweaver) open at the same
time and create, view and design by switching from one
app to the other(s). Having worked on low ram Macs
where you have to close the app, then open the other,
then close that to open another other, it takes some
getting used to but it's fabulous once you get the
hang of it.
