Go into your current Netscape's Address book window. Select your Personal Addresses (or any other address books you wish to transfer) and select export. It should automatically come up to let you save it as an ldif file. (Your MMV slightly, I'm looking right now at the Wondopws version of NS 4.76, not the Mac one but it's very similar.) Start Netscape 6.2 (I'd go for 7 over 6.2., btw, 7 is a large improvement) Go to 'Tools> Import' this will let you import anything, leave it at Address book. Select text file in the next part (ldif is listed on that line, and an ldif file is a simply formatted readable text file of your addresses) and select the file you just saved.. It will be imported as a new address book. For importing Mail folder, just go to Tools Import in Netscape 6 or 7 again, and this time select Mail. Your Netscape mail is most likely in your System:Preferences:Netscape Users: <your name> :Mail folder, unless you changed it. Bookmarks: Start Netscape, and go to Bookmarks>Manage Bookmarks Under (yep, you got it!) Tools>Import you will navigate to the bookmarks file, called bookmarks.html in your Netscape prefs folder. > Today I ordered a Beige G3, taking some very good advice. Should have it > next week.
