I think I'm gonna have to disagree with you here. I picked up the latest PC 
Mag, because they had an article about USB vs Firewire. I one side bar they 
show the throughput of each standard, and SCSI blew firewire out of the 
water. 400 Mb/sec (50 MB/sec) for FW vs 320 MB/sec for Ultra 320 SCSI. Now I 
realize this is the theoretical maximum, and mobo or PCI busses can make a 
big difference, but assuming that FW and U320 were hooked up to a very fast 
bus, SCVSI would kill FW. I believe the real advantage over SCSI is 
portability (not having to duplicate drives over many machines) and cost of 
drives themselves.
