When you have your computer connected, open the TCP/IP control panel and you should have an IP address assigned. If you don't you have a DHCP assignment problem. The next step is to see if you have basic connectivity. Do you have a 'ping' program available. The next check would be to make sure you can ping the DNS entries. If you can, the next step would be to ping 17.112.152.32 (www.apple.com).
