Ok guys, now I am really confused..... I have an external modem plugged in ....a V90 56k US Robotics and use the US Robotics high speed modem script. I can get the computer to connect to the my provider but I can not browse. I tried tech tools and it says the connection is good. I do not see a modem installed in this machine and the modem port was not covered when I got the machine. So does that answer any questions and can someone tell me what I need to do to get my machine to browse? are we still talking an upgraded motherboard??? REally appreciate the help......
